Loch Ba

Loch Ba - The Classic View
Taken in April shortly after sunrise. I composed this scene with the intention of using the large foreground rock as an anchor and used the curved line of rocks in the loch to act as a lead towards the snowy peaks.

I think the foreground rock could probably do with a little more breathing space in the frame, however I like how its colours, patterns and form mimic that of the snowy peaks beyond. In this image I am drawn to the golden light hitting the reeds and also the little hill on the right hand side of the frame.
