Loch Etive Lines

At the end of the Glen Etive road lies a decaying old pier and abandoned boathouse with the impressive Ben Starav towering over the loch (I believe that a new pier has been built in recent months so this may have been pulled down now)

I composed this scene with the intention of highlighting a few converging lines on both the slipway and in the water which then lead towards the pier and onwards up the distant hill.

I used a 10 stop ND filter to flatten the water and also to emphasise the subtle lines of froth.
