Elgol - Evening Light - The Classic View
The tide was fully in as the sun began to set. I waited for a large wave to come in and fired the shutter just as it crashed onto the shore.

With the sun being low in the sky the honeycomb rock was illuminated to great effect. This was taken in early Spring and at this time of the year there is still snow on the peaks of the Cuillin Hills.

From a composition point of view I think this one breaks a few 'rules' but for me the wave leads the eye along the shoreline towards the golden rock face and then to the distant hills.
