Sunset at Bagh Dail Beag
This is an image from Lewis taken during the summer after sunset. On this little stretch of coastline there are a number of photogenic bays within close proximity of each other. Dail Beag is well worth a visit at any time of the day.

The tide was coming in, and there wasn't much to use as a foreground. I decided to compose the scene to include this cluster of rocks. This was shot at the ultra wide angle and I wanted to place as much emphasis on the foreground as I could. The sky wasn't particulary interesting aside from the colours on the horizon and there was not enough light to reveal any detail on the sea stack but I quite like how this is presented as a silhouette.
