St Abbs

The village of St Abbs is situated on a spectacular stretch of coastline near the Scottish Borders.
St Abbs is a popular site for Scuba Divers. The sea around the village is unusually clear, in contrast to the more silt-laden coastal waters further to the north or south. The adjacent headland with its towering cliffs is a designated National Trust Nature Reserve boasting a huge variety of bird life.
It was from these cliffs that this image was captured, with the early morning light bathing the scene and revealing the warm colours in the land.
